Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Yield of Increased CIE Fares.

asked the Minister for Transport and Power the total additional revenue expected from the proposed increase in fares by Córas Iompair Éireann.More Button

Can the Minister say how much was the recent increase in salaries and wages?More Button

I understood there was a recent award and a statement was issued to the effect that the award would cost the company £2 million.More Button

If the actual increase has not been ascertained yet, how did it come that a statement was issued by CIE indicating that the proposed increases in rates and fares would operate from July?More Button

Surely the matter has advanced enough for CIE to be able to determine what the proposed increases will be?More Button

Was an offer of a £1 a week not made?More Button

Then it should be possible to ascertain what that offer would cost.More Button

Does the Minister not think it significant that the proposed date for these increases to operate is 1st July?More Button
