 286.  Deputy Aengus Ó Snodaigh Information on Aengus Ó Snodaigh Zoom on Aengus Ó Snodaigh  asked the Minister for Social Protection Information on Joan Burton Zoom on Joan Burton  if any child over the age of three years is non-verbal has been found either on initial application or on review to be ineligible for domiciliary care allowance; and if so the number of such children and their age at the time of the decision. Minister for Social Protection (Deputy Joan Burton): Information on Joan Burton Zoom on Joan Burton The Department is not in a position to provide a breakdown of the applications received and applications reviewed based on medical diagnosis. However, if the Deputy has any specific case or cases in mind, he can forward the details to the Department and they can be examined.
