Deputy Regina Doherty   asked the Minister for the Environment, Community and Local Government the number of laptops in use in his Department; the number of tablets in use in his Department; the number of the laptops in use that are due to be upgraded this year; and if he will make a statement on the matter. Minister for the Environment, Community and Local Government (Deputy Phil Hogan): My Department currently has 309 laptops and plans to upgrade 75 laptops this year. This number includes the laptops provided under a shared services agreement to the Heritage Division of the Department of Arts, Heritage and the Gaeltacht. Tablets have not been deployed in my Department.
