Deputy Denis Naughten   asked the Minister for Health the position regarding the establishment of a compensation fund for the parents of vaccine damaged children; when a decision will be made on the implementation of the recommendations of this report; and if he will make a statement on the matter. Minister for Health (Deputy James Reilly): My Department is currently examining the recommendations of the Vaccine Damage Steering Group. The report raises many complex issues that require further consideration and I expect to have an assessment of these in the near future.
