80. Mr. Naughten   asked the Minister for Education and Science if he will approve funding for three primary schools in County Roscommon for which a commitment was given prior to the general election; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [26602/02]
Minister for Education and Science (Mr. N. Dempsey): I take it that the Deputy is referring to national schools at Ballyfeeney, Clooneyquin and Roxboro.
Tender reports for the three schools are currently with the building unit of my Department. I will be announcing my Department's expenditure proposals for school buildings in the new year. It [1514]is not possible at this point to give any indication as to when construction will commence on individual projects.
