243. Ms O'Sullivan   asked the Minister for Education and Science when his Department will release funding for the purchase of a laptop computer, scanner and printer for a person (details supplied) in County Limerick; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [24422/02]
Minister for Education and Science (Mr. N. Dempsey): My Department is currently considering an application for funding towards the purchase of computer equipment for the person referred to by the Deputy. A decision will be conveyed to the school authorities as quickly as possible.
