 471. Mr. Eamon Ryan Information on Eamon Ryan Zoom on Eamon Ryan  asked the Minister for the Environment and Local Government Information on Martin Cullen Zoom on Martin Cullen  the percentage of his Department's telecom budget for phone bills, which is allocated to his Department's largest telephone supplier. [23694/02]

Minister for the Environment and Local Government (Mr. Cullen): Information on Martin Cullen Zoom on Martin Cullen Expenditure on phone bills in my Department amounted to €439,484 in 2001. Some 82% of this total related to payments made in settlement of phone bills with the Department's largest supplier of phone services. To date in 2002, 76% of the spend on phone bills relates to similar payments.
