[23363/02]

Minister for the Environment and Local Government (Mr. Cullen): Information on Martin Cullen Zoom on Martin Cullen Parking is available for up to an estimated 130 cars in my Department's offices in the Dublin area described. While primarily for use by staff, the parking spaces are shared by both staff and authorised visitors alike on a first come basis.

My Department is strongly committed to encouraging and supporting the use of environmentally friendly commuting options by its staff. To that end, the Department encourages the use of public transport through the Civil Service travel pass scheme, with a take-up of around 28% of Dublin based staff last year. The use of bicycles is also encouraged through the provision of secure “lock up” space and showering facilities at the Department's main offices.
