 361. Mr. McGuinness Information on John McGuinness Zoom on John McGuinness  asked the Minister for Health and Children Information on Micheál Martin Zoom on Micheál Martin  if arrangements can be made for more weekend access in relation to persons (details supplied) in County Kilkenny; and if the South-Eastern Health Board will review the case and reach an early decision. Minister of State at the Department of Health and Children (Mr. B. Lenihan): Information on Brian Lenihan Zoom on Brian Lenihan As this is a matter for the South-Eastern Health Board, my Department has requested the chief executive officer of the board to reply directly to the Deputy.

Minister for Health and Children (Mr. Martin): Information on Micheál Martin Zoom on Micheál Martin The provision of chiropody treatment to individual persons in County Kilkenny is the statutory responsibility of the South-Eastern Board Health Board. My Department has asked the chief executive officer of the board to investigate the position in relation to this case and to reply directly to the Deputy as a matter of urgency.

My Department has asked the chief executive officer of the board to investigate the matter raised by the Deputy and reply directly to him.
