 273. Mr. Penrose    asked the Minister for Education and Science    if appropriate financial help will be provided to help secure transport for a person (details supplied) in County Westmeath; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [23420/02]

Minister for Education and Science (Mr. N. Dempsey):   I have asked the school transport section of my Department to complete examination this case as a matter of urgency. The Deputy will be informed of the outcome as soon as possible.
