An Ceann Comhairle: Information on Séamus Pattison Zoom on Séamus Pattison I wish to advise the House of the following matters in respect of which notice has been given under Standing Order 21 and the name of the Member in each case: (1) Deputy Cowley – the action being taken to revitalise the north-west Mayo area due to the declining population; (2) Deputy Timmins – to ask the Minister for Agriculture and Food what measures he has in place to deflect the importation of illegal feeds and how many batches have been found to be contaminated since January 2000; (3) Deputy Allen – the need for the Minister for Finance to make a decision on the construction of a new school of music at Union Quay, Cork, in view of the fact that the public private partnership project has been waiting since January 2002 for permission to proceed and if he will now sanction the project as it needs to commence in January 2003 to be ready for Cork's year as European city of culture, commencing January 2005; (4) Deputy Breeda Moynihan-Cronin – the closure of the Torc Great Southern Hotel in Killarney, County Kerry; (5) Deputy O'Sullivan – the need for the Minister for Health and Children to provide resources in 2003 to fully develop the specialist Breast Cancer Centre at the Mid-Western Regional Hospital in Limerick; (6) Deputy McGinley – the loss of 35 jobs in BMR Industries in Gweedore from next Friday.

The matters raised by Deputies Moynihan-Cronin, Cowley and McGinley have been selected for discussion.
