This information covers the situation between Ireland and other states which are parties to the Dublin Convention.

*“Requests” under the Dublin Convention may refer to more than one person or multiple requests may be sent to different states concerning the same applicant.

Deportation Orders: since November 1999, 338 of the deportation orders signed by the Minister have related to Dublin Convention removals as at 4 October 2002. Of this figure, 96 removals have been effected to date of whom five were deported for a second time.
