Mr. Andrews   asked the Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform the categories of economic aid which will be tied to compliance by non-EU member states with standards relating to repatriation of illegal immigrants and failed asylum applicants; and the categories of humanitarian aid which will not be tied to such compliance. Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform (Mr. McDowell): I am to inform the Deputy that [1212] in so far as my responsibilities relate to the repatriation of illegal immigrants and failed asylum applicants, no decision has been made which links categories of economic aid to non-EU member states with standards relating to such returns.
