76. Mr. Murphy   asked the Minister for Finance when the refurbishing at the Garda station in Newmarket, County Cork, will commence. [18649/02]
Minister of State at the Department of Finance (Mr. Parlon): I am advised by the Commissioners of Public Works that tender documents for the [1179] refurbishment of the Garda station and official accommodation at Newmarket, County Cork, are being processed at present. It is proposed to go to tender in mid-December 2002 with a view to a contract being placed and works commencing on site at end of January 2003. This project is on the Garda priority list programme of works.
