 226. Mr. Higgins (Dublin West) Information on Joe Higgins Zoom on Joe Higgins  asked the Minister for Education and Science Information on Michael Woods Zoom on Michael Woods  the reason no investigation was initiated into complaints by a construction trade union of serious breaches of the laws concerning workers' entitlements and Revenue matters on the major construction projects at Dublin City University which were heavily financed from public funding. Minister for Education and Science (Dr. Woods): Information on Michael Woods Zoom on Michael Woods All State bodies in receipt of Exchequer funding for capital purposes must comply with Government and European Union procurement procedures, as appropriate.

Industrial relations issues are a matter for resolution between contractors and relevant trade unions.
