 206. Mr. Penrose Information on Willie Penrose Zoom on Willie Penrose  asked the Minister for Education and Science Information on Michael Woods Zoom on Michael Woods  if an application has been made to his Department by a school (details supplied) in County Offaly for funding to run an all-Irish section within the school; when this project will be considered; and if he will make a statement on the matter. Minister for Education and Science (Dr. Woods): Information on Michael Woods Zoom on Michael Woods An application to establish an all-Irish unit with effect from September 2002, at the school referred to by the Deputy, has recently been received from County Offaly VEC. This application is under consideration in the planning section of my Department and a decision on the matter will be made as soon as possible.
