186. Ms O'Donnell   asked the Minister for Justice if her attention has been drawn to a letter dated 21 June 1996 from a person (details supplied) in Dublin 12; if so, when she will reply to such correspondence; and if she will make a statement on the matter. [17707/96]
Minister for Justice (Mrs. Owen): I am informed by the Garda authorities that the matter referred to by the Deputy is the subject of a complaint to the Garda Síochána Complaints Board. I understand that to date the board has not completed its investigations.
The Deputy will appreciate that in the circumstances I cannot comment on the matter.
