 183. Miss Harney    asked the Minister for Justice    when a decision will be made regarding an application for naturalisation by persons (details supplied) whose parents are Irish citizens; and if she will make a statement on the matter. [17670/96]

Minister for Justice (Mrs. Owen):   I have recently reached a decision on the applications of the persons referred to and I am in the process of conveying that decision to the applicants. I will write to the Deputy on the matter shortly.
