The Taoiseach: Information on John Bruton Zoom on John Bruton The amount of money, estimated on the basis of the Consumer Price Index, which would have been required in each of the years 1981, 1986, 1991 and 1996, to purchase the same quantum of consumer goods and services at retail prices as one Irish pound today are supplied in the table below.
