Dr. O'Hanlon   asked the Minister for the Environment the number of applications to date to each local authority for shared ownership and a grant in lieu of housing; the number of such applications approved to date; the number of applications where funding has been allocated; and if he will make a statement on the matter. Minister of State at the Department of the Environment (Ms McManus): The housing statistics bulletins published by my Department give the available information on activity under the shared ownership and the improvement works in lieu schemes. The bulletin for the January-March 1996 quarter will be published shortly. Copies of the earlier bulletins are available in the Oireachtas Library.
