 79. Dr. O'Hanlon Information on Rory O'Hanlon Zoom on Rory O'Hanlon  asked the Minister for Health Information on Michael Noonan Zoom on Michael Noonan  the number of patients who attended an orthodontist in each community care area in 1994. [12338/96]

Minister for Health (Mr. Noonan,: Information on Michael Noonan Zoom on Michael Noonan Limerick East): I propose to take Questions Nos. 78 and 79 together. The provision of orthodontic treatment services [1893] is the statutory responsibility of the health boards. The information requested by the Deputy is not maintained by my Department. Accordingly I have asked the chief executive officer of each health board to provide the information requested directly to the Deputy as a matter of urgency.
