 175. Mr. Hughes Information on Séamus Hughes Zoom on Séamus Hughes  asked the Minister for Social Welfare Information on Prionsias De Rossa Zoom on Prionsias De Rossa  the number of social welfare branch offices in County Mayo; the location of these offices; and the branch offices located in the county that have closed since 1989. Minister for Social Welfare (Proinsias De Rossa): Information on Prionsias De Rossa Zoom on Prionsias De Rossa There are three social welfare branch offices in County Mayo. They are located in Ballinrobe, Claremorris and Swinford. No social welfare branch office in the county was closed during the period 1989 to date.

 176. Miss Coughlan Information on Mary Coughlan Zoom on Mary Coughlan  asked the Minister for Social Welfare Information on Prionsias De Rossa Zoom on Prionsias De Rossa  the number of social welfare branch offices in County Donegal which he is reviewing; the location of these offices; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [9254/96]

Minister for Social Welfare (Proinsias De Rossa): Information on Prionsias De Rossa Zoom on Prionsias De Rossa There are four social welfare branch offices in County Donegal. They are located in Ballybofey, Ballyshannon, Donegal and Killybegs.

With regard to the Deputy's question concerning the review of these offices I refer her to my reply to Questions Nos. 169, 172, 173, 176, 177, 181 and 182 on Tuesday, 30 April 1996. The position as outlined in that reply is unchanged.
