 132. Mr. Lenihan Information on Brian Joseph Lenihan Zoom on Brian Joseph Lenihan  asked the Minister for Education Information on Niamh Bhreathnach Zoom on Niamh Bhreathnach  the proposals, if any, she has for the establishment of a primary school in the Cherry Orchard district of Dublin 20; and if she will make a statement on the matter. [9026/96]

Minister for Education (Ms Bhreathnach): Information on Niamh Bhreathnach Zoom on Niamh Bhreathnach As I indicated to the House on 6 March last, I have arranged that the Cherry Orchard project be included in the primary schools building programme for 1996 and it will be progressed as quickly as possible within that programme.

I expect that confirmation as to the school patron will be received in the in the near future and the acquisition of a site for the school can then be put in hands. At this early stage, it is not possible to say when precisely the school will be completed.
