Mr. Coughlan: Information on Stephen Coughlan Zoom on Stephen Coughlan asked the Minister for Local Government the date of application by Limerick County Council for the sale of Knockbrack and Ballinlena quarries to a private concern; and if he will come to a decision on the matter in the near future.

Minister for Local Government (Mr. Blaney): Information on Neil T.C. Blaney Zoom on Neil T.C. Blaney The proposal referred to by the Deputy was received in my Department on 21st March, 1966, and is at present under consideration. A decision on the matter will be issued as soon as possible.

Mr. Coughlan: Information on Stephen Coughlan Zoom on Stephen Coughlan Can the Minister give me any reasonable date when a decision will be arrived at? The employment of the men in these two quarries has been in suspense since March. I suggest the Minister accept the recommendation of Limerick County Council in the matter.

Mr. Blaney: Information on Neil T.C. Blaney Zoom on Neil T.C. Blaney The Deputy's suggestion is duly noted and I hope to have a decision in the next couple of weeks.
