Mr. Spring: asked the Minister for Lands what is the present position regarding the obtaining by Kerry County Council of a Land Commission site at Inch, Annascaul, County Kerry, for the building of cottages; and the reasons for the delay in finalising this matter.
Minister for Lands (Mr. Moran): There is no delay whatever on the part of the Land Commission. Last August the Commission offered to sell an area comprising about 5½ acres in the Inch district of [1509] County Kerry to the county council for development. The offer was accepted and the Land Commission are now awaiting completion of the necessary purchase agreement by the council.
