Mr. Tierney: asked the Minister for Local Government if he has received a request from North Tipperary County Council regarding the sale of quarries to a firm (name supplied); and, if so, what is the present position in the matter.
Minister for Local Government (Mr. Blaney): I have not had any approach from Tipperary (North Riding) County Council in this matter.
Mr. Corish: We did not hear the Minister's reply.
Mr. Tierney: Perhaps the Minister did not want us to hear him.
Mr. Lindsay: Would a member of the best Cabinet in Europe speak up?
Mr. Blaney: Perhaps the Opposition would clear their hearing.
[760]Mr. Dillon: These are just reminders that we have not the best Cabinet in Europe.
