Mr. L'Estrange: Information on Gerald L'Estrange Zoom on Gerald L'Estrange asked the Minister for Local Government the number of projects submitted by Westmeath County Council which are held up awaiting sanction in his Department at present; the total amount of money involved; and when he will be in a position to sanction them.

Mr. P. Brennan: Information on Patrick Brennan Zoom on Patrick Brennan In so far as local authority housing projects are concerned, there are no proposals for the acceptance of tenders by the Westmeath County Council before my Department at present. Loan applications have been submitted by the local authority for three sanitary services projects estimated to cost a total of £39,000. I am not in a position at present to say when these will be sanctioned.
