Smith   asked the Minister for Education if her attention has been drawn to the condition of accommodation at a school (details supplied) in County Cavan; if she will sanction the necessary improvement works or new permanent accommodation; and if she will make a statement on the matter. Minister for Education (Ms Bhreathnach): An application for grant-aid towards the cost of improvement works at the school referred to by the Deputy has been received within my Department.
My Department's technical advisers have been requested to furnish a report in the matter. On receipt of this report my Department will be in touch with the school authorities.
