Mr. Mullen: Information on Michael Mullen Zoom on Michael Mullen asked the Minister for Local Government if he has received any request from Córas Iompair Éireann for special road privileges for buses operating in Dublin city; and, if so, if he will make a statement in connection with this matter.

Minister for Local Government (Mr. Blaney): Information on Neil T.C. Blaney Zoom on Neil T.C. Blaney I have not received such a request. Any proposal of Córas Iompair Éireann in this regard would be a matter for consideration by the Commissioner of the Garda, who has the initiative in the making of traffic bye-laws, and by Dublin Corporation, as the road authority.
